Julie Davey conducted a one and half hour
session on Cartooning for Trainers at our 2008 Tools and
Techniques Expo (19 August) for approximately 80 learning and
development professionals.
We asked Julie to provide some tips for trainers to draw
cartoons to make their visual presentations more interesting.
Her session was highly interactive and engaging and we have
received several positive comments during and since the Expo.
Julie has a very gentle and encouraging style mixed with a bit
of humour which made the session a lot of fun.
AIPF provided some suggestions for the types of images trainers
would like to draw and Julie delivered everything we asked for
and more. She provided lots of tips and suggestions on how to
draw images by keeping it simple and quick. All the attendees
were happy showing off their new found
skills of drawing.
Julie was a delight to work with and she was determined to
deliver exactly what we were wanting and checked in regularly to
see if there was anything else she could do to help or include
in the session. We would definitely
love the opportunity to do further work with her and have no
hesitation in recommending her services for similar
