Julie Davey teaching goal setting workshop

In May 2015 Julie ran a three part program on goal setting for five DFS attendees in Frankston.

All enjoyed the experience and after just the first session, Andrea (first from left) landed a wonderful part time job. Nice to see these women set some achievable goals.

Author Julie Davey speaking in Singapore 2003

Julie's interest in the mind-body connection, lead to A for Attitude being self-published in 1998 for distribution in Australia and New Zealand. It was subsequently reprinted by Random House in 1999.

Since then, the A for Attitude range has grown in both scope and territory. In 2002, Times publishers in Singapore licensed the rights for Asia and distributed the book in ten Asian countries, including a special edition for India. More books have since come into being.

Julie has been interviewed in the media both locally and internationally. For more information about Julie Davey: author, illustrator and caravan captain, check out her early days page to follow...

goals Coaching

Julie Davey coached author Sally Halligan

"I met Julie Davey through our common interest in writing children's books and holistic well being. We had our first session around mind mapping my plan for getting my ideas for my books into a finished publication and giving talks about the book and content. It was seeing that visually and knowing, with effort and the right attitude, that passion was totally achievable.

Now, two years down the track, I have my first book, 'The Elephant In The Room' printed and have had to order a re-run. I am giving radio interviews about the book and have spoken twice on stage at forums. Julie as a life coach, I believe, was a catalyst for change and got me from 'stuck' to 'achieving' . It took a lot of work and self belief, but having Julie work alongside me at that pivotal moment was invaluable.

Now I have just had another coaching session about getting my body into shape, so I'm looking forward to looking svelte at my daughters wedding this February! I'm going from flab to fab! Thank you Julie!"
